All our referrals for the Catalyst Night shelter come direct from the council, this is to ensure that you get access to all your possible options. Even if you are not eligible to be housed by the council you can still be referred to the Night shelter where you can with our help work out your next steps into private rented accommodation.

Often people who are rough sleeping can feel overwhelmed or have not been successful in the past in receiving help from the council. We can talk them through this process and follow up with the council direct once they have made a homeless referral.

You can also make an appointment to visit us at our office. We know that the threat of homelessness can be traumatic and the events that have caused this can be sudden and unexpected. There are many options for you to consider.
Sometimes our circumstances mean that it is unsafe for us to approach someone who is rough sleeping, but you can still be a help by calling in people who can. Thamesreach Outreach Service provide a nightly outreach service through referrals made to Streetlink. Making a referral could save someone’s life.
